Preparation action
Arcoxia is a highly effective, drastic medication characterized by perfect action. It helps many people suffering from very serious diseases, accompanied by intolerable painful attacks.
Arcoxia is applied in such diseases as: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Strümpell-Marie disease, in case of the pain and inflammatory symptomatology associated with acute gouty arthritis.
Arcoxia is a selective COX-2 inhibitor, in therapeutic dose blocks prostaglandin formation with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-fever action. Selective COX-2 suppression reduce the clinical symptoms associated with inflammatory process, thus platelets and mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract are not affected.
Arcoxia does not affect prostaglandin in mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract and the bleeding period. Clinical researches have not reported decrease in level arachidonic acids and aggregation of platelets, caused by collagen.
